Ballet Graz under the artistic leadership of Dirk Elwert is looking for:
Dancers (m/f/d)
for the season 2025/26
(first day of work: 19th of august 2025)
Ballet Graz performs at the Opera Graz, participating in dance, opera and musical theatre performances, alongside outreach and education events. Ballett Graz works in a variety of styles, from neoclassical to diverse forms of contemporary dance. Guest teachers are regularly invited to introduce different and innovative techniques.
Since 2023/24 Ballett Graz is led by its director Dirk Elwert, who invites international guest choreographers to work with the company.
Requirements:
- professional dancers with a solid classical and contemporary technique
- good improvisation qualities
- openness to different styles and vocabulary of dance
- ability to learn quickly and work in a team

- The video should be no longer than 4 minutes and should include: 2 minutes showreel (showing the pieces danced by the candidate) and about 1 to 2 minutes improvisation
Salary:
The minimum monthly salary is EUR 2392,75 brutto plus a monthly extra payment of EUR 244,50 brutto (both 14 x per year).
Holidays:
There are 8 weeks of vacation per season, with mostly one week to be consumed in February and another 7 weeks in July and August.
Audition:
Selected candidates will be invited to audition on Monday, 3rd of february 2025 at the Opera Graz, Kaiser-Josef-Platz 10, 8010 Graz, Austria (entrance: next to the Opera building under the glassbridge).
Registration starts at 9:00 am / audition starts at 11.00 am. No travelling expenses will be covered and participation in the audition is at your own risk.
